FAQ: how to use the tools
Short answers: how each kind of tool works, why it is useful, and that ToolZora does not keep your files on our servers. Longer walkthroughs are in Guides. Legal detail is in the Privacy Policy.
How to start
- Open Tools or search from the header.
- Open a ready tool (planned tools say they are not live yet).
- Choose a file only if that page asks for one, or type values for calculators.
- Download or copy the result on the same page.
Benefit of this setup
You finish a small job without installing software and without creating an account. Ready PDF and image tools process on your device. Close the tab and the file is gone from memory.
Files we do not keep
ToolZora does not store your PDFs, photos, resumes, or invoices on our servers. Recents and invoice drafts, if any, stay only in this browser. Google Analytics and AdSense may still measure site use; that is not a copy of your document. Read We do not store your files.
Questions
How do I use a ToolZora tool?
Open Tools in the header, or search the tool name. Open the page. If it needs a file, choose PDF, image, or spreadsheet from your device. Run the action on that page. Download or copy the result. You do not create an account.
What is the benefit of using ToolZora instead of installing software?
Ready tools run in this browser with no signup. You can merge PDFs, compress a photo, draft an invoice, or check a resume without installing an app. Close the tab and the file leaves memory. Recents, if any, stay only in this browser until you clear site data.
Do you save my files, resume, invoice, or photos?
No. ToolZora does not keep a copy of your files on our servers and does not create a user account for them. Ready converters process on your device. Do not email private files to support unless a person asked.
Then what still gets collected?
Page visits can go to Google Analytics. Ads can use Google AdSense cookies. The host may log IP and URL. That is website traffic, not your PDF contents. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
How do PDF tools work?
Open the PDF category. Merge, split, rotate, PDF to Excel, Excel to PDF, JPG to PDF, and similar ready tools use libraries in this tab. Select files, keep them under the size limit on the page, then download. Scanned PDFs have little text, so Excel export can be empty.
How do image tools work?
Open the Image category. Compress when the file is too heavy. Resize when you need a pixel width. Convert JPG, PNG, or WebP when you need another format. Photos stay on the device for ready tools.
How do calculators and text tools work?
Type numbers or text on the page. Results appear in the same tab. Nothing is uploaded unless that specific tool says it must call the network (for example live currency rates).
How does the ATS resume checker work?
Open ATS. Upload a text PDF or DOCX and optionally paste a job description. You get overlap scores and missing skills. It is an estimate, not a job offer. The resume is not stored on ToolZora.
How does the invoice generator work?
Open Invoice. Fill seller, client, and line items. Download a PDF bill template. A draft can stay in this browser only. It is not GST filing software.
Why is a tool labeled planned?
That converter is not live yet. We will not show a fake download. Use a ready tool from the same category, or check Guides for what currently works.
Is ToolZora free?
Ready tools are free and do not require signup. Shop files are optional and separate. Ads may appear when Google allows them.
