About this tool

Your resume is analyzed temporarily in this browser and is not stored permanently. Optional AI wording, if enabled, sends scores and skill names only — not the file.

Questions

Is the ATS resume checker free?

Yes. Basic analysis runs in your browser with no account and no paid ATS API.

Do you store my resume?

No. The file is read in this browser, analyzed in memory, and is not saved on ToolZora.

Does it only work for software resumes?

No. Skills are taken from your resume and the job description. Mechanical tools like AutoCAD, or any listed skill, can match.

Will this guarantee ATS acceptance?

No. Scores estimate parseability and overlap. They are not a guarantee for every ATS.

Do I need an AI API key?

No. Scoring is free in the browser with no model. Optional wording can use a free Groq key you add in .env.local. OpenAI gpt-4o-mini is paid and is not required.
